The Head of Global Customer Acquisition develops effective customer acquisition strategies and plans for our global business focusing on the industrial markets and countries in which we operate. This will include the planning, development and implementation of customer acquisition strategies and programs to deliver the company’s ambitious growth targets. The role is responsible for recommending the right blend of offline and online marketing activities and investment. The role will consider the use of ‘global’ marketing versus ‘local’ activities that are delivered through the network of local marketeers located within the countries within which we operate.This role will work closely with the global, regional & country Sales organizations to understand customer acquisition needs, promotional and sales tool priorities. This is a role will develop and strengthen the capability and culture of the Global Customer Acquisition team and lead a significant upgrade of strategic marketing capability, communications and thinking.

The Head of Global Customer Acquisition will lead three key teams: Digital Customer Acquisition, Local Market Activation, and In-house Language Localization, across Essentra Components, globally.

**Digital Customer Acquisition**: This team drives the company’s digital marketing efforts, including lead generation through pay-per-click media, and search engine optimization. Marketing automation, lead scoring and lead nurturing is managed by this team.

**Local Market Activation**:This team includes marketing for Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific/Japan. Activation of the global marketing plan, and country-specific marketing will be delivered through the network of local marketeers in the countries where we operate.

**In-house Language Localization**:The team’s responsibility is to receive all master document artworks ready for translations and project manage the process of translations and variant creations in-house. They are the central point of contact for all Project Managers within the business, as well as our external translations agency and design agency. It’s important to note that the in-house localisation team is not the translations agency. The main responsibility of the team is to project manage the work needing localisation and manage the relationship between us and our agency.

**Job Requirements**
- Accountable for the creation, development and execution of global customer acquisition activities and operational plans, supporting Essentra’s revenue and growth ambitions and supporting the strategic goals.
- Management of the global customer acquisition team, leading their growth, development, and transformation to drive a shift to greater customer-centricity, ownership and accountability.
- Work in close cooperation with stakeholders in global and local teams to deliver the creation, development, and execution of the global marketing plan, incorporating ‘local’ marketing activity.
- Ensure Essentra Components’ marketing activity takes account of the ‘local’ voice and is adapted to ensure the highest possible relevance and response from customers
- Drive alignment of communication activities to key strategic and tactical priorities and develop team expertise in selecting and implementing effective communication strategies with regards to achieving Essentra Components strategic objectives
- Be responsible for critical metrics measuring return on investment of activities and ensuring all activities incorporate continuous improvement to optimise performance
- Build strong external and internal relationships with key partners and participate in customer and business-related activities
- Accountable for Customer Acquisition spend globally
- Build strong relationships with external agencies/service providers and internal cross-functional partners, including Sales, IT, end-to-end Supply Chain, Finance, and HR.
- Drive continual process improvements in the team and ensure all projects are run efficiently and effectively
- Lead engagement with all external agencies and service providers, ensuring message consistency across all communication platforms, including website

**Skills & Experience**
- An experienced people manager, capable of leading by influence as well as direct authority
- Operated in a multicultural matrix environment, used to leading direct and indirect teams in a hybrid/remote working environment
- Demonstrates drive and leadership skills to lead organizational transformation and capable of defining a vision for the future of the team
- Extensive experience as a Marketing Communications Manager (or similar), with a strong background in developing and deploying effective and target-group-tailored B2B communication strategies and campaigns - both online and offline
- Extensive experience designing, launching, and measuring digital marketing campaigns that generate, nurture, and convert leads in complex B2B buying cycles. Experience with marketing auto
