Workshop Assistant

Cocoapod is a small family run business in Banbury. In our workshop we make personalised chocolates that we sell online through marketplaces such as Not On The High Street and Etsy and we also have our own website.

**Job description**

The person we are looking for will be happy to work in our workshop and possibly at markets should we attend any. It is a fun and varied role;
**You will be**:

- Picking and packing orders of personalised chocolate
- Putting together flat packed packaging
- Cleaning of the workshop and equipment
- Stock control
- Must be willing to take on other duties as required

You will need:

- To be flexible in line with the needs of the business
- You must be available on a Thursday (day time) and be available to work asap.
- Level 2 in kitchen hygiene is preferred but not essential
- Experience working with chocolate is preferred but not essential
- You must have a keen eye for detail.
- To be organised and good at working to tight deadlines
- You will need great communication skills and have a can-do attitude. You must be self-motivated and be able to manage your time well.
- Training will be given in areas that it is needed

Hours:

- This is a 0 hours contract - hours will change week to week depending on workflow and the number of orders but we envisage anything from 0 to 30 hours a week. We will expect more hours to be worked in the run-up to certain celebrations such as Father's Day and to cover staff holidays. This could include weekend work and will include a Thursday.

This is a PAYE employed position. Previous applicants need not apply.
