**Status: Permanent, full time, Monday - Friday; 8am - 4.30pm**

**Location**:Beaumont Rd, Banbury OX16 1RH**

**Report To**:Workshop Foreman / Assistant Foreman**

**Hours: Full time**

**(Starting salary £31,200 per annum based on 40 hours per week)**

- Like to weld & fabricate materials accurately and within the required timeframe for our customers/construction projects.
- Like to weld mechanical parts of our materials to a high standard using required tools/equipment.

**Do you**:

- Have proven experience in understanding and direction from engineering drawings
- Have proven experience welding and fabrication.
- Have strong communication skills, ability to influence across all levels of the organisation and with customers.
- Are you physically strong enough to lift and carry heavy steel structures in and around the workshop/to help driver load materials for delivery.
- And can get to our fabrication facilities on Beaumont Road, Banbury.

**The opportunity**:
Due to continued business growth, we are looking to expand our team. We have an amazing opportunity to progress your career in the steel fabrication sector. You will get stuck in from day one:

- Ensure health & safety practices /processes are followed at all times.
- General fabrication and welding duties.
- Cut, drill and weld plates onto assembly
- Read drawings and fabricate projects as per specifications.
- Complete welding duties on complex projects.
- Any other ad-hoc workshop duties as required such as painting, gas cutting, metal folding.

**If you have**

**Essential**:

- Proven knowledge of the Steel, Construction Industry to enable understanding of client requirements and to question/probe further where required.
- Have worked in construction/fabrication or another similar/related field to a minimum of Level 3.
- Strong communication skills, ability to influence across all levels of the organisation and with customers.
- Professional, approachable and flexible.
- Must be physically strong enough to lift and carry heavy steel structures in and around the workshop/to help driver load materials for delivery.
- Technical/mechanical skills/aptitude.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong work ethic, proactive nature to get things done.
- Demonstrates energy and a positive attitude.

**Desirable**:

- Accuracy and good attention to detail.
- Able to understand and work from engineering drawings
