Our client is a prestigious material testing facility located in Banbury. They seek a dedicated Trainee Machinist to join their dynamic team.

Position: Machinist Location: Banbury
**Salary**: £26,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
As a Machinist, you will play a crucial role in preparing and setting up parts for machining, utilising both manual and CNC equipment (after training), to ensure precision and accuracy. With state-of-the-art CNC Machines at your disposal, our client is dedicated to providing comprehensive training to support your professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mastery in Machining: Prepare and set up parts for machining with manual equipment, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Expert Operation: Operate machines according to established procedures to produce high-quality components.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct meticulous inspections and measurements on finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Maintenance and Safety: Perform routine machine maintenance, assist in troubleshooting, and maintain a safe and organised workshop environment.
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience as a Machinist is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and appreciation for precision work.
- Willingness to Learn: Show eagerness to learn and adapt to manual and CNC machining through provided training.
