Critical Business solutions are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator, to primarily support the business to maintain appropriate financial controls. This role will help drive efficiency by developing and maintaining systems that streamline the purchase ledger processes and ensure that payments are processed accurately and timely. The role will also involve supporting the Directors with ad-hoc administrative duties as requested. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone proactive with the right experience to work autonomously to implement and manage the Purchase Ledger process. Experience with import and export duty is particularly desirable.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Manage the company's accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
- Processing of all purchase invoices and managing credit notes with suppliers
- Reconciliation of purchase ledger statements
- Identify an appropriate electronic system to manage the purchase ledger process and ensure that this system is maintained accurately and used optimally
- Support the Company with the recovery of debts owed
- Ensure purchase invoices, receipts and delivery notes are processed and matched with company bank statements
- Formulating and setting up payment runs
- Reconcile statements as requested
- Deal with all invoice queries with suppliers and customers and ensure that payment terms are met
- Handle supplier queries in a professional and efficient manner
- Manage the duty for all imports and exports when raising commercial invoices
- Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure information is accurate
- Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Directors

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
