**What You'll Do**

We’re looking for someone to join our UKI communications team who is ready to bring big aspiration with the propensity to roll up your sleeves to get things done, too. SAP's Global Communications (GC) team is charged with protecting and enhancing the reputation of SAP amongst internal and external audiences. We aim to tell stories for SAP as the world’s leading enterprise cloud solution provider, recognised thought leader, responsible corporate citizen, as well as employer, business partner, vendor, and investment of choice. In addition, the communications function supports sales of SAP software solutions and products, informs employees about strategy, performance and execution and drives employee engagement.

This Integrated Communications role is responsible for planning and driving the execution of communications activities across multiple audiences at Market Unit level (UK&I. The Integrated Communications Specialist reports into the UK&I Head of Communications.

The Senior Specialist in this function is part of a regional Customer Success Communications team spanning the EMEA North countries (UK&I, France, Netherlands, Nordics and Benelux). The Senior Specialist level of Integrated Communications focuses on the communications requirements for the UK & Ireland market unit and covers all or an agreed selection of programs and channels for this market unit.

At the Senior Specialist level this job includes hands-on media relations, employee communications, executive communications for the UK&I Managing Director responsibilities (developing and sharing content, shaping channels, and reaching out to audiences), as well as working closely with team members to support global, cross-regional and corporate activities and topics.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE**
- Work with your team to develop a communications plan and provide regular updates to progress against plan goals for the market unit
- Create awareness amongst our priority influencers building strong relationships and driving targeted outcomes
- Build and strengthen a network of regional/national traditional and non traditional (online, print, social media, broadcast, business, trade and verticals) influencers
- Support in developing a story pipeline that strengthens SAP’s public profile with regard to business strategy, innovation and thought leadership that helps secure share of voice and market position in business software and cloud services
- Engage and manage external agencies, providing clear direction and focus to ensure alignment to global and local messages and ensure message and media training for industry and product spokespeople
- Provide communications counsel to leadership and the employees of the market unit
- Help motivate, retain and inform SAP employees with clear communication and measurement of impact through Town Halls, All Hands Meetings and help innovate new ways to reach employee audiences
- Ensure crises are managed, coordinated, and escalated to region and Global Communications leaders where necessary

Who You Are_**
- Broad experience (10+ years) in design and implementation of communications concepts and plans across the UKI
- Deep experience in UK communications to more than one influencer type (media, employee communications, bloggers/social influencers, analysts, governments officials,)
- Must have set up and managed integrated communication channels
- Comfortable in storytelling and copywriting
- Experience managing senior spokespeople messaging/ comms across multiple channels (e.g. PR, LinkedIn)
- Proven track record providing communications counsel to senior executives in the UK market
- Experienced in handling confidential material
