**The Job...**

Reporting to the Director of Content & Community, you'll be responsible for being a true ambassador and champion of the community function. This is an opportunity to recruit and train a team of community specialists, with you able to fully own the communities setup. You'll provide support to a growing community, encourage engagement, and maintain best practises. It’s a full-time role, with flexible hours. There's also plenty of flexibility in terms of where you conduct your work. You'll be in the modern Salford Quays office 2 days a week, with the rest of your work conducted from home.

**You'll be responsible for**:

- Owning the high-level community plan for multi-offering brands.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align around strategic objectives.
- Executing tactical community activity from welcoming new members, generating discussion, acting as facilitator, mediating issues, etc.
- Helping design the necessary experiences to enable the business to onboard and retain audiences and strengthen their communities.
- Monitoring activity and creating reports every week to continuously optimise the community strategy.
- Working closely with the wider marketing team to support community events.
- Supporting initiatives to promote the brands within the community.
- Recruiting and developing a team of community specialists.

**About You...**

The Social Community Team Lead will be crucial in terms of fulfilling their community needs, which is central to their overall marketing strategy. This role requires well-developed social community moderation skills, a strong strategic and objective-driven mindset, and a genuine excitement for engaging with members of the community, whilst simultaneously developing a team around you.

**Here's some of the key experience you'll need to demonstrate**:

- At least 5 years experience in community and/or social media roles OR demonstrable evidence as ambassador/community moderator.
- A solid knowledge and understanding of social media /community platforms (Telegram, Discord, Reddit etc) and how each platform can be used most effectively is a must.
- Excellent knowledge of all social media platforms (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube) and growing brands on social media.
- Understanding and experience of issue and crisis management.
- Experienced and confident in data-driven approaches to community activity
- A strong track record of managing resources including budgets and personnel.
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast paced environment, and be comfortable with rapid changes.
- Experience of managing multiple projects at the same time and proven time management skills.
- The ability to work nights or weekends / a variable schedule when necessary.
- A good technical understanding of crypto technologies would certainly make you stand out.
