We are currently recruiting on behalf of an international financial services organisation, looking to add a head to their fast-paced Compliance Controls Team. This role will focus on reporting into senior management and ensuring controls are in place in order to address all relevant regulatory risks.

What will the day-to-day look like?
- Performing regulatory compliance controls testing within the agreed compliance testing engagement plan, ensuring a strong controls environment is maintained
- Agreeing remediation plans with operational teams and following up with these teams to ensure effective implementation
- Maintained strong relationships with senior managers across the business to ensure compliance is met in different markets
- Ensuring any and all ad hoc regulatory or operational risk reviews are managed

What experience is needed?
- A minimum of two years of experience in an audit, compliance, or internal control testing environment in financial services
- The ability to work and communicate with varied stakeholders, some of these at a senior level
- The ability to show critical thinking and sound judgment when identifying problems and subsequent solutions
- Strong analytical skills demonstrated within a compliance, assurance, or controls role
