About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join Commonwealth Senior Living as an Assistant Resident Care Director. In this role, you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Resident Care Director will assist the Resident Care Director in various aspects of the Resident Care department, including:

  • Maintaining a liaison with residents, families, and support departments to plan for resident care needs;
  • Ensuring provision of services to residents and validating compliance with Federal and State policies governing resident care;
  • Performing competent care and supervisory responsibilities, infection control, resident rights, safety, and sanitation;
  • Delivering direct resident care and supervision of direct care associates in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort;
  • Contributes to continuity of care and effective communication by reporting care provided and changes in the resident's condition to the Resident Care Director immediately.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A strong educational background in nursing, preferably with a focus on geriatrics, psychiatry, or rehabilitation;
  2. Significant experience in nursing, ideally with a proven track record of leadership and collaboration;
  3. Certification in CPR and first aid, as well as any relevant state certifications;
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with residents, families, and colleagues;
  5. A willingness to undergo training and obtain certifications as required by law and company policy;
  6. The flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed;
  7. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000-$85,000, based on experience and qualifications.
