We are currently looking for a Facilities Support Operative to join our established team based in Cambridge. This is a mobile role working across multiple prestigious sites in the Cambridge area and we are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work and is wanting to make an impact to the community.

We have several Caretaking teams around the Cambridge area and the main function of this role is to provide cover and additional support to these teams. A large portion will be covering team members holidays but there will also be the capacity to provide an additional pair of hands on more difficult sites.

This role is offered on a full time basis with standard working week of 40 hours, working 7:30am-4:30pm with some flexibility needed.

As this is a mobile role, a Full UK Driving License is essential in order to operate the company vans.

**The key duties of this role are**:

- Grass cutting
- Regular weeding of beds (which will include weed killing)
- Seasonal pruning and deadheading
- Undertaking general caretaking duties
- Cleaning on site
- General maintenance (changing lamps)
- Carrying out of Planned Maintenance activities, light switch checks, etc
- Litter picking and leaf removal
- Testing emergency lighting and fire alarm systems (Training Provided)

Previous caretaking experience is not essential however a background in caretaking, cleaning or similar would be advantageous.
