**Job summary**:
The Equality Hub Communications Team provides a range of support to the Hub and its Ministers, bringing specialist expertise and direction to all of our policy areas.

The team provides digital, media and communications advice, working with colleagues in the Hub’s policy and strategy functions to ensure that Ministerial priorities are communicated in an effective manner.

**Job description**:
You will be required to plan media moments, using the Government Communications Service’s OASIS framework, making sure that plans turn into successful output both in terms of press interest and digital engagement.

**Person specification**:
**Essential**:

- Knowledge of the Government Communications Service’s OASIS system
- Experience of working in a communications based role
- Understanding of the UK’s political media landscape
- Understanding of how to communicate via social media
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to deliver at pace

**Desirable**:

- Experience of handling media enquiries from journalists
- Content creation experience
- Knowledge of the Adobe suite of products
- Experience of videography
