About the Role

This is a new position within the organisation as their Marketing & Communications Manager reporting directly to the Chief Executive.

The successful candidate will oversee the co-ordination of all communications, digital marketing and advertising and will have a key role in championing stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a media and communications plan to ensure all critical dates and events are effectively tracked and managed to maximise media opportunities public profile for the charity.
  • Oversee the charities PR function, including being the first point of contact for press and media enquiries.
  • Work with the charity's Projects team to manage communications around capital projects.
  • Manage the Marketing Officer and support them in their work and training, ensuring agreed targets and standards are met.
  • Manage the charities' digital presence, websites and social media through the creation, commissioning and delivery of all digital content including filming, video and audio editing, and animation where required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a marketing and communications management role.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience of managing budgets.
  • Experience of managing staff and working with external partners.
  • Experience in digital marketing and social media.
  • Knowledge of the creative industries and stakeholder engagement.
What We Offer
  • Annual salary £k.
  • Hybrid working (3 days in the office, two days from home).
  • 35 hours per week.
  • Standard hours are 9am - 5:30pm.
  • Holiday entitlement is 25 days plus Scottish public holidays.
