- **We are delighted to be working with a local authority client, recruiting on their behalf for a HR Adviser based in Gateshead, a role that is available on a fulltime basis.**_
- **This is a medium role and commands a standard hourly rate of £19.31 per hour.**_
- **Job Description**_
- Support in the analysis of the outcome of the market testing exercise to determine whether the pay framework is competitive and support in the development of a revised framework
- Working closely with senior management and leadership teams across all services to ensure accurate collection and analysis of job information in order to update all job descriptions, ensuring they accurately reflect the responsibilities of each role.
- Building trusted relationships with senior management to provide comprehensive and effective advice on all aspects of the job evaluation process and the development of pay frameworks and ensure that solutions are designed and tailored to meet the needs
- Working in partnership with the trade unions to review and update all aspects of the current job evaluation scheme, ensuring the scheme is up to date and reflects the current NJC Green Book Job Evaluation scheme at all times.
- Engaging with trade unions, and building trusted relationships, to ensure that the integrity and accuracy of the job evaluation process is maintained at all times and consult and negotiate with trade unions as required on all proposals.
- Working in partnership with the trade unions to undertake a comprehensive job evaluation process of all roles
- Support in the delivery of key messages linked to the project and the implementation of any change required as an output of the project
- Support in the development of internal communications and ensure accurate minute take and record keeping of all job redesign discussions, job evaluation reviews, meeting with stakeholders and trade union reps etc
- Updating and maintaining information systems to ensure data collated is accurate and up-to-date and statistical reports and analysis of job evaluation information is produced and shared as appropriate
- Support the review of the current senior leadership grading structure to determine if it meets the requirements of the organisation and, where necessary, developing proposals for change
- Support in the development of proposals for a revised pay and grading framework that is future proofed and meets the needs, working closely with senior management and leadership teams to identify and address the HR implications of the revised frameworks
- Preparing reports and other documentation for presentation to management in order to inform decision-making and ensure that any revised pay and grading proposals are fully and properly documented and considered.
- Work closely with senior management and relevant stakeholders to develop and drive the roll out of change implementation plans in order to implement the outcome of the pay and grading review and the revised senior leadership grading structure
