We are currently looking for a talented and motivated HR Administrator to join our team in Ipswich.
**What does the role involve?**
As a member of the HR Operations team, you'll provide support to business managers, employees, and the wider HR team to effectively manage people related activity in line with Sweco HR policies, procedures and practices ensuring compliance with UK legislation.
Working with a high level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail you'll monitor the HR inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner. You'll also process new starter documentation, maintain current HR systems, produce documents regarding contractual changes, assist in the collation of monthly People KPI's, support the implementation of the employee survey, administer benefits, and assist with annual pay review and activities related to annual bonus payments as required.
You'll also support our monthly payroll process for Sweco UK and Ireland, processing any third party changes/deductions (e.g. student loans etc.) You'll report on benefits and administer pension auto-enrollment. At the end of the year you'll produce P60's, P11D's and submissions of class 1A NIC payments.
You'll continuously review and make improvements to Best Practice processes and procedures and implement changes as agreed and ensure strict compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (GDPR) at all times.
**To be successful in this role you’ll possess**:
- A proven track record in generalist administration and/or a HR environment ideally with a sound basic understanding of Human Resource Management principles and processes
- High level of attention to detail with the ability to work to varying deadlines
- Good planning and prioritisation skills with the flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to work independently, asking for assistance when appropriate
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal,
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers
- Strong MS skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams and ability to learn in-house systems as required.
- A CIPD qualification would be desirable
