**Shifts: Monday - Friday (09:00-18:00) with 1 Hour Lunch Break**

CitySprint have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Coordinator in our Edinburgh Service Centre 40 hours per week.

We are looking for a superstar who enjoys coordinating the activities and efforts of teams to ensure a streamlined and efficient Operation, resulting in excellent service for our customers and colleagues.

In this role you will be building excellent working relationships with both staff and clients in the Service Centre and beyond and be the go to person who designs and delivers an effective operation with couriers and suppliers.

**The main responsibilities within the Operations Coordinator role are**:

- Answer phone lines promptly and professionally
- Arrange relevant collections, transit routes and deliveries
- Input event tracking for all bookings and in-transit consignments taken
- Liaise with both Operations departments and where required Imports, to ensure any imports arrive back in line with correct SLA (transit time)
- Provide the Customer with updates on all exceptions or issues
- Request and enter all POD’s from relevant agents
- Provide quotes when requested to the relevant Customer
- Provide Customers with regular updates on the status of their shipments/bookings as and when required
- To proactively maintain a high level of Customer care across all bookings
- Work with suppliers (agents) to deliver a seamless, high quality Customer Experience
- Ensure the quality of information available to Customers through the web-based booking system is of a high standard and accurate
- Excellent verbal and written communication including:

- Comfortable adapting to change, meeting the changing demands of the work environment, responds well to any delays or other unexpected demands.
- Works well as part of a team, is objective and be open-minded towards the ideas and views of others, gives as well as welcomes feedback, contributes to building team spirit, aids others to succeed.
- Skilled listener, able to understand and empathise with Customers whilst understanding context and the Customer supplier relationship
- Ability to self-motivate and work with the minimum of supervision
- Have a problem-solving attitude and relish the challenge that obstacles may present
