**Job Description**:
Lead the product teams in developing the product strategy, create a complete product roadmap for teams and manage all activity through the product lifecycle.

**Key accountabilities**
- Development of strategies across products and distribution channels and agree with key stakeholders across the Group
- Create product roadmap to deliver agreed strategies and access target markets
- Identification of target markets and customer segments that products serve to ensure high levels of customer service
- Design of all products and propositions, ensuring aligned to Group strategy
- Design of products and features that will drive customer value, adhering to relevant regulation including consumer duty with end-to-end customer experience in mind
- Commercial ownership and management of the product line including pricing, planning, funding, budgeting and forecasting with Finance Business Partner
- Identification and management/mitigation of risk across the product set, both financial, regulatory or risk to the customer
- Development of data suite to understand key performance and risk indicators and use to support and influence discussions with key stakeholders
- Act as a role model and proactively promote and embed the company’s Beliefs, Mission and Vision.
- Drive high performance through the setting of clear objectives and appropriate performance management. Encourage continuous personal growth.
- Define roadmap and objectives. Develop a clear strategic and tactical plan, working with other areas to ensure delivery
- Sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring strong collaboration, industry understanding and regulatory adherence

**Experience Required**
- A minimum of 5 years in product or marketing management in a financial services company;
- Open and collaborative style; must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are shared and challenged;
- Experience designing and implementing products strategy
- Can demonstrate the ability to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution;
- Experience of managing stakeholders at all levels, up to and including Board level,
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Good operational sense-knows how business works, success indicators, where to look for/anticipate trouble
- Strong communication-internally and externally, one-to one and in groups/presentations
- Strong people management skills-motivate and manage well, handle conflict and difficult feedback positively/constructively at team and individual level, improve team capability through coaching and mentoring
- Leadership-positive and proactive, leads by example with a clarity of vision and ability to communicate with conviction, courageous in decision making-role model for organisational values-team leader and team member
- High level intellect-numeric and verbal reasoning
- Personal resilience-cope with many competing/conflicting demands
