**About your role**:
As our Head of Brand & Creative, you will play a key part in shaping and driving our overall brand strategy, identity, and positioning, as well as designing and developing the future of our owned-brand portfolio.

This will include developing and implementing a comprehensive brand strategy that fully aligns with our company's goals, values, and target audience. You’ll create and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints, including marketing materials, communications, and digital platforms. Equally important, will be the development and implementation of our owned brand strategy.

Cross-functional partnerships will be at the heart of what you do, and you’ll work alongside the Head of Marketing Comms to develop integrated brand marketing campaigns, which enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and increase market share.

**About your responsibilities**:
In this role, to achieve the overall above purpose, you will:

- Conduct market research to identify consumer insights, market trends, and competitor activities, and translate these findings into actionable strategies that differentiate our brand and drive growth.
- Define and manage the brand messaging, including brand narratives, positioning, and tone of voice, to effectively communicate our brand story and value proposition.
- Oversee the development and implementation of creative concepts, visual assets, and brand experiences that effectively convey our brand identity and resonate with the target audience.
- Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics, such as brand equity, customer perception, and market share, and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in branding and marketing, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and agencies ensure the successful execution of brand strategies and initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing brand team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.

**About You - knowledge, skills, and experience**:
You’ll be a senior brand specialist, already a head of department or ready now to take that step in a fast-paced, consumer (and pet) led business. Embracing agility and with a keenly creative mind, you will be adept at weaving compelling stories which can be visualised and understood by our diverse audience groups. Creative, visionary, curious and with exemplary communication skills, you will create and translate strategies that are both appealing and memorable to our consumers.

Ideally, you will bring to this role;
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior Brand role, preferably within a retail business.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to analyse data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent creative and visual thinking abilities, with a deep understanding of brand identity, design principles, and storytelling.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
