Up to £24,000 p/a + holiday pay

Search Consultancy are currently working with a top Edinburgh based legal firm to recruit for a Billing Administrator to join them on a permanent and full time basis.

The Billing Administrator will support partners in dealing with all pre and post billing related administrative duties, liaising with finance teams to ensure accurate preparation and drafting of bills.

Duties involved in this role will include:

- Monitoring partner and client portfolios, ensuring bills are issued with set firm timeframes
- Requesting ad-hoc forms and generating reports, amending when necessary
- Inputting billing guide amendments to the pre-billing system in line with firm requirements
- Dealing with invoice and billing related queries
- Liaising the Working Capital Support team to assist in queries
- Preparation of fee breakdowns when required
- Preparation of documents for dispatch on generated bills for Partner review
- Dispatch of bills to clients in line with client requirements
- Liaising with eBilling team to provide guidelines and portal requirements
- Request credit notes or re-issue instructions via Finance workflow
- Support with general billing queries

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:

- Financial administration experience, preferably in professional services
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - including Excel and Word
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Professional telephone manner, able to communicate at all levels
- Ability to work to given timeframes, anticipating future workflows
- Consistent production of accurate work, excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive work approach, with good initiative
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to be flexible
- Comfortable doing routine tasks
