This is an exciting time for the Trust as it refreshes its strategy, and develops plans for collaboration and transformation within the Trust, as part of the Oxfordshire Integrated Care Partnership and the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire Integrated Care System in line with the priorities set out in the NHS Long Term Plan. To deliver this, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has established a new Strategy and Partnerships team, which is responsible for:

- Leading on all aspects of Trust-wide Strategy development
- Providing strategic guidance and expertise across OUH
- System strategy engagement and transformation
- Strengthening our capacity in partnership working

We are recruiting for a Deputy Head of Strategy and Partnerships (FTC One Year and/or Permanent) who will play a key role in this small but high profile, energetic and collaborative team which will work across the Trust and the system to fulfil the objectives above. They will have the necessary skills and confidence to develop and present content for senior discussions and Trust wide audiences, and the ability to deputise for the Director of Strategy within high profile internal and external strategy discussions. They will be responsible for developing, delivering and driving forwards discrete pieces of work to support OUH and the wider system deliver a strategy that drives forwards local priorities and those set out within the NHS Long Term Plan.

The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

Enable delivery of Project SHAPE
- The following themes will underpin the digital requirements of the Trust Strategy to ensure delivery of Trust objectives. We will share best practice and expertise through collaboration with partners across our region, who will work together in partnership, sharing scarce expertise and specialist skills to deliver “Digital by Default”: - ENHANCE- improving quality, safety, patient experience & outcomes through significantly reducing paper processes and records that cause inefficiency and delays in care.
- EMPOWER- delivery of person held records and assistive technology empowering

and activating our population to utilise digital technologies to manage their own care, take control and work in partnership in relation to their health and wellbeing.
- INNOVATE- creating a culture of constant ‘innovation’ and improvement with our approach to technology enabled health and care services.
- CONNECT- delivering the integration of our local health and care organisations, ensuring that information is available to the right people, in the right place, at the right time to deliver and drive service delivery, integration and transformation.
- SECURE- supporting all local health and care organisations to ensure that our local system operates and functions safely through a robust approach to Cyber Security.
