Clinical Research Practitioner

This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) at Birmingham Children's Hospital. The Clinical Research Practitioner post will work closely with the Principal Investigators and Research and Development in the set up of clinical trials on the CRF research portfolio, taking a lead in the co-ordination, delivery and development of the clinical research projects at Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Birmingham Women's Hospital and support with relevant studies running at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust.
You will be responsible for assessing and contributing to the care pathways for patients and carers participating in various trials. This will involve the daily screening, recruitment and monitoring of trial patients, and the collection and documentation of accurate data. You will develop and utilise a working knowledge of and compliance with local, national and international research regulations. There is scope to support a variety of specialties.
This role is an autonomous role to work to support delivery of research. This will involve working across various departments and working with a multitude of other healthcare professionals to deliver a high standard of research.
