We’re now looking to recruit an exceptional Customer Service Administrator (Logistics) for our NDC in Hull that shares our core values; respect for people, hard work and enterprise, excellence in reputation and making the world a safer place for everyone.

About the role

The Customer Service Administrator will become an integral part of our small but successful Customer Service team at our NDC facility in Hull. You’ll ensure that our customer service levels and trading integrity are maintained throughout all customer interactions whilst increasing profitability through effective management of enquiries. This is full time opportunity, working Monday to Friday from 08:30 - 17:00.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing and responding to customer queries, complaints and requests for information promptly and accurately and providing excellent levels of customer service
- Assessing branch and customer needs using product knowledge and customer service skills to serve the branch and customer effectively
Trend, communicate and report the customer service issues in order to minimise them and prevent reoccurrence
- Responding to and managing carrier related queries and processing carrier claims
- Investigating and resolving shop and customer pick errors to an agreed service level
- Proactively identifying customer and shop orders which maybe held up and push these through the system on a daily basis
- Maintaining good working relationships with the CEC and carrier partners
- Ensuring customs compliance through managing the customs process and all related customs declaration documentation for Irish shipments and ensuring that Arco meets all legislative requirements for the carriage of dangerous goods

About you

The ideal Customer Service Administrator will be/have:

- Knowledge of the Arco’s product range, customers and pricing
- Strong IT Skills, ideally including SAP R3
- Good operational/ logistics knowledge
Experience of root cause analysis and problem sovling
