Operations Planner/scheduler

**The company**
Veriserv, one of the U. K’s leading compliance specialists, are looking for a Planned Maintenance Scheduler to join our high performing team in Penkridge, Staffordshire on a full-time, permanent basis. As a member of the Operations Team, you will be operating as the first point of contact for many large blue-chip clients.
The role will be working from Monday to Friday between 09.00-17:00 Monday to Friday
**The role**
Working within a fast-paced customer contact environment, you will deliver an excellent customer experience that aims for swift resolution of the customers queries.
You will be responsible for effectively planning and coordinating the work of a team of Electrical Testing Engineers through communication with internal and external customers.
You will ensure the team are motivated, follow required processes and use the I.T. systems provided to plan, and schedule planned maintenance work.
You will be expected to monitor their performance levels and identify any needs to improve productivity.
**Key Responsibilities**
- To undertake planning, scheduling, and coordinating the work from receipt, through to job completion on site.
- Schedule work orders in accordance with client KPI’s, whilst optimising travel routes and increasing productivity.
- Supporting Engineers in the field, ensuring they have the correct job information, equipment, etc. acting as a point of liaison for them with the customer and relevant internal departments.
- Build and maintain professional cross functional relationships with the Technical, Customer Service and Finance departments
- Being the main point of contact for many customers, you will provide excellent front-line customer service, building strong relationships with key contacts to retain existing business. Includes reporting in line with their specific Service Level Agreements.
**Required Skills**:
- Able to demonstrate excellent planning and implementation skills (essential)
- Ability and self-discipline to work independently
- A proactive innovative approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- MS Office, in particular Excel/Spreadsheet Skills and Outlook
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,000.00-£26,500.00 per year
