**Role Purpose**:
To undertake roadside speed enforcement utilising vehicle based mobile enforcement equipment, and fixed site equipment, in accordance with manufacturers, Home Office Type Approval and SCTP requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To operate roadside traffic data collection equipment, retrieve data and present it in an appropriate format.
- To view recorded offences and compile computer records to enable appropriate action to be taken.
- To obtain registered keeper details and prepare Notices of Intended Prosecution.
- To liaise with service engineers when problem arise with safety camera equipment.
- To maintain accurate records of work activity for evidential purposes.
- To provide minor maintenance and problem-solving service for all equipment used.
- To attend court to give supporting evidence when required.
- To prepare witness statements with appropriate supporting evidence.
- Any other duties commensurate with the grading of the post.

**Skills and experience**:

- Full Clean driving licence with the ability to pass a Police Basic Driving Assessment.
- Resilience / ability to work under pressure.
- Be comfortable working alone for periods of time.
