We are seeking a proactive and highly organised individual with the ability to work unsupervised, multitask, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team within a busy and friendly environment. You should have excellent IT skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages. You should also have relevant experience in an administrative role, ideally with knowledge and experience of a higher education environment.

The postholder will provide proactive administrative support to senior academic staff responsible for leading the research activity in the IMS, this includes the Institute Director of Research and 5 Research Theme Leads. In addition to support the Institute Administration Manager and when required wider Institute/School activity.

Salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 4 salary scale, £25,285 - £28,929 per annum, and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.

This post does not meet the minimum requirements for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route. We are therefore unable to consider applicants for this post that require sponsorship to work in the UK.
