**What we'll need you to bring**:

- HNC or equivalent qualification plus experience of working at a senior secretarial level within the NHS.
- Computer and IT skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Wide ranging knowledge of office and administrative procedures
- The ability to work with people.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Organisational and administrative skills.
- A sympathetic, patient approach and the ability to form congenial working relationships with local dental colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
- The ability to take direction and work as part of a team through procedures and protocols to meet agreed targets.

**It would be great if you also have**:

- Evidence of ability to follow reporting mechanisms
- Knowledge of using patient management systems
- Experience and knowledge gained in a health care setting would be advantageous
- Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise a wide range of activities
- Skills in preparing
- reports and presentations
- Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive conservations with patients/staff.
- Ability to work under pressure

This role will be based in Dental Office within Coathill Hospital

The working pattern for this role 8.30am-4.30pm Monday-Friday
