About the Role

The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to a multidisciplinary team, including the management of information systems and coordination of the clinical referral system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including managing information systems and coordinating clinical referrals.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of administrative tasks, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in secretarial studies or equivalent.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a similar administrative role.

Working Arrangements

This role will be based in the Sexual Health Services department at Coathill Hospital. The working pattern will be confirmed by the hiring manager.
