Ask Energy Solutions specialise in

Accounts Assistant/HR

**Duties**:

- **Data Entry**: Responsible for accurately recording financial transactions in the company's accounting software or ledger. This includes entering invoices, receipts, expenses, and other financial data.
- **Reconciliation** of financial records to ensure that there are no discrepancies between different accounts, such as bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- **Accounts Payable**: Responsible for processing supplier invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring payments are made on time. Dealing with supplier enquiries and resolving issues.
- **Accounts Receivable**: Processing sales invoices, recording payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- **Expenses**:Monitoring and recording expenses incurred by the company.
- **Financial Reporting**: Assisting in preparing financial reports such as P&L accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- **Bank Transactions**: Managing bank transactions, including reconciling bank statements, processing deposits, and handling bank-related tasks.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- **Taxation**: Assisting in tax-related tasks, such as calculating and preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and assisting with audits if necessary.
- **Audit Support**: Providing support during financial audits by organising and presenting financial data and assisting auditors in their examination of financial records.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts by providing historical financial data and input on anticipated expenses and revenues.
- **Administrative Support**: Assisting with general administrative tasks within the finance department, such as filing, organising documents, and supporting other team members.
- **Payroll**: Assist in the processing of weekly and monthly payroll.

**Required skills and experience**:

- **Software and Technology**: Familiarity with XERO accounting software. Strong Excel skills.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies or financial issues as they arise.
- **Accounts payable/receivable**: Strong background in accounts payable & receivable, able to handle heavy workloads.
- **HR**: Normally duties and task

**Desired skills and experience**:

- **Eco/Energy industry**: Experience working within a Eco/Energy Company environment preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time

**Salary**: From £19,500.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40 hours per week
