Female Care Assistant

Female Personal Care Assistant / Support Worker required to assist an elderly person with a Physical Disability living in the Wishaw area to work sleepovers.
You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance within their home, including attending to all personal care needs. Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:
- Attending to all personal care needs
- Assisting with medication
- Preparing meals and healthy snacks
- Walking and general exercise
- Moving and assisting
- General House Work
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living
- The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds._
Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.
Experience is required but not essential as training will be provided.
The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**
Recruiting for 1 position
Guaranteed permanent position of 36 hours per fortnight
**Days and times**:
Set shifts at set times OR weekly rota
Typically - Sleepovers, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (night shift): 9pm - 9am
Shifts to be discussed at interview
**Hourly rate**:
£10.90 per hour
