Male or Female Personal Assistant/support Worker

Male OR Female Personal Care Assistant / Support Worker required to assist a physically disabled man living in the Newmains area.
You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance within their home and attending to personal care. Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:
- Attending to all personal care needs (showering, shaving)
- Assisting with medication
- Preparing meals and healthy snacks
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living
Driver license is essential, and you will be required to use your own vehicle - mileage allowance will be paid OR as you will be required to drive a mobility vehicle.
- The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds._
Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.
Experience is required but not essential as training will be provided.
The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**
Recruiting for several positions.
Guaranteed permanent position of 11 hours per week.
**Days and times**:
Set shifts at set times:
1 hour and 30 minutes in the morning & 1 hour and 30 minutes in the evening - Will be discussed at interview.
**Hourly rate**:
£12.50 per hour
