Seeking an experienced Administrator to join an established optician practice in the Falmouth area. This role is being offered on a permanent basis, 32.5 hours per week.

***
- Managing the practice diary to ensure the best use of the available clinic hours.
- Contacting patients to remind them when they are due to be seen
- Booking appointments and managing a patient database and clinical records.
- Assisting the company director with the submission of NHS claims and associated practice administration.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience in a customer facing role
- Previous experience within an admin support role.
- Good IT skills - ability to pick up new systems/processes.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Experience of spectacle dispensing, spectacle verification and managing collections would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Experience of contact lens teaching would be an advantage but is not essential.

**Working days/hours**:
Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5pm

No weekends/bank holidays

**Benefits**:

- We offer a fully funded pension scheme. The Company will pay 8% of your qualifying earnings into a NEST pension scheme (we contribute both the employers 3% and the employees 5% contributions).
- 28 days holiday (inc bank holidays) You will be required to use annual leave when the practice is closed for the week of the August Bank and between Christmas and New Year.
