Due to an increase in business, National Timber Systems (NTS) part of the National Timber Group are seeking to increase their team by appointing a Transport Assistant based at their NTS Catterick site at Bridge Road, Brompton on Swale, North Yorkshire, DL10 7HS.

**Main Duties**:

- To book out delivery tickets in accordance with the Companies Procedure Manual
- Despatching orders
- Answering telephone in a polite manner
- All duties as instructed by Transport Manager
- Communicating with suppliers, managers, and relevant teams
- Ensuring that all elements of the service are delivered to a high quality
- Providing reliable, timely, and accurate information to the business
- Planning and scheduling transport arrangements for customers
- Assisting with the coordination and implementation of all aspects of the transportation department
- Helping develop, implement, and monitor compliance with policies and procedures related to the transport
- Assisting with the scheduling and dispatch of vehicles, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.

**Hours, Salary and Benefits**:

- This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- 6 weeks holiday per year including the public Bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks after 5 years service
