**SEN Teaching Assistant | £90-£100 Daily PAYE | Fulltime/Parttime/Daily Supply**

Our client School is a co-educational special school catering to children and young people aged 4 to 19 with severe and complex learning difficulties. Our clients’ students include those with an additional diagnosis of autism and/or physical/sensory disabilities. Located in purpose-built facilities alongside local inclusive-minded mainstream schools, our client is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

We are currently seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team. Our client school ethos revolves around high expectations for both their learners and staff. With their "small schools" and small class sizes, they ensure that every student receives consistent and supportive attention tailored to their individual needs. Their ultimate goal is to facilitate enjoyable learning experiences, challenge students, and empower them to achieve their full potential.

Importantly our client does offer parking to members of staff. This is a added bonus to those who commute using their car. Additionally, public transport links are outstanding, with multiple bus routes ending only a 5 minute walk from the school.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Providing support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with severe and complex learning difficulties, autism, and physical/sensory disabilities.
- Assisting in the implementation of individualized educational plans.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Encouraging student engagement and participation in learning activities.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children or young people with special educational needs.
- Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
