HR & Office Administrator

**Job Purpose**
Our fast-growing company is looking for an individual to assist our current Human Resources staff member, the directors and others with HR and office administrative duties. This role is highly sensitive and although experience would be an advantage it is not essential as full training can be given. This is being advertised as a part time role only.
**Knowledge, Skills/Qualifications & Experience**
About the role:
As a HR/Office administrator you will assist the directors, our outside HR expert and others in the effective administration of all elements of HR and other office administration within the company. You will need a resilient & proactive approach and be able to work flexibly. The ideal applicant will have good organisational skills as well as the ability to take initiative and contribute to the effective running of the department.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare all contractual HR paperwork for sign off by the directors
- All HR filing both paper & computer formats
- To arrange and lead an accurate & informative induction to all new staff & subcontractors
- Liaison with outside HR specialist
- Being present on exit interviews where appropriate
- Being present on disciplinaries where appropriate
- Be involved with Drug & Alcohol testing
- Managing job descriptions & KPI’s
- Managing appraisal system
- Post/deliveries
- Arrange and manage staff training
- Organise staff stand down days - twice yearly
- Stationary orders and stock taking
- Staff uniform orders and stock taking
- Minute taking from weekly office meetings
- Managing the initial recruitment process of all new starters
- Social media posting
Essential:
- Computer literate
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional approach in dealing with confidential & sensitive information
- Knowledge of Microsoft including word and excel
- Knowledge of social media platforms
- Knowledge of recruitment platforms i.e. Indeed
Desirable:
- Knowledge of HR law
Job share, working on a Thursday and Friday, minimum of 10-16 hours per week.
Must be on site at the office at all times. No remote working.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
