Logistics Administrative Assistant

Overview:
**Duties**:
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, shipments, and deliveries.
- Oversee the transportation of goods, including negotiating rates and contracts with carriers.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to logistics, such as damaged goods or delivery delays.
- Preparing shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and delivery notes)
- Perform administrative tasks including typing, data entry and filing
- Greeting clients and customers and fielding enquiries in person or by phone
**Experience**:
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
