An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Oxford School of Global and Area Studies as the Contemporary China Studies Programme Administrator on a full time, fixed term basis (maternity cover).

**The Role**:
The Programme is now seeking a talented, versatile and conscientious full-time administrator to support the day-to-day delivery and administration of the MSc in Contemporary Chinese Studies and MPhil in Modern Chinese Studies.

This is a highly responsible role within the OSGA wider administration team of professional staff reporting to the Programme Administrator - African Studies Centre, in a vibrant and dynamic University department.

The post holder will have a wide range of responsibilities from supporting the Programme Director and the school-wide OSGA Exam Board, administrative colleagues in Examination Schools, liaising closely with academic colleagues within Contemporary China Studies Programme and beyond, and providing administrative support with research ethics approvals.

You will be based in the University of Oxford China Centre, Dickson Poon Building, Canterbury Road, Oxford. OX2 6LU as your normal place of work but you will be able to agree a pattern of regular hybrid working with your line manager.
