About the Role

Here at Howden Group, we are transforming the way we deliver recruiting services to our business and in this newly created position as an Early Careers Recruiter, you can truly make a difference to our organisation.

Working as part of the wider recruitment team, you will provide highly visible and effective end-to-end recruitment solutions to find the best Early Careers talent for our business. You will ensure we are attracting and retaining the highest calibre diverse Early Careers talent to build the strategic capability we require as a business as we continue to grow at pace. Reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition and working alongside the growing recruitment function, this position is key to drive recruitment best practice and high-touch business partnering support as we look to embed and promote our enhanced Early Careers proposition for the group internationally.

The successful incumbent will bring with them the prior experience of developing and implementing Early Careers recruitment strategies and initiatives, and will have experience of working within a fast-paced, highly commercial and entrepreneurial environment. Additionally, you will have experience of delivering beyond the day to day and working with the Head of TA and other Centres of Expertise (CoE) to deliver wider HR strategic initiatives and priorities. Key Accountabilities- Develop and implement an enhanced Early Careers offering and proposition across the business- Work with senior stakeholders to build the Early Eareer EVP, awareness and attraction campaigns, building advocacy and support for our Early Careers proposition- Build relationships with key external Early Careers partners, including CSR relationships, schools, universities and recruitment businesses- Own the end to end recruitment process across the Early Careers offering including Apprenticeships, Graduate Schemes, Internships and other Early Careers initiatives from initiation through to on-boarding and pre-hire- Work with senior stakeholders to build the recruitment team brand and encourage managers to engage with the recruitment team with regards to Early Careers talent- Build a comprehensive suite of assessment tools and evolve as and when required to an ever changing Early Careers landscape- Be an active contributor and influencer in the Early Careers recruitment process, providing best practice advice to hiring managers, advising on appropriate selection methods, leading interviews and influencing decisions to ensure an inclusive hiring process- Partner with the Leadership, Learning and Talent team to design and deliver an integrated Early Careers experience from attraction through the on-boarding and ongoing development-
- Work closely with the wider HR team and line managers at all levels to ensure a detailed understanding of current resourcing needs and future recruitment plans- Pro-actively source and pipeline talent using a range of channels (Social media, online forums and CV databases, recruitment partners etc)- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business- Work closely with other CoE’s & HRBP’s, which align to the wider integrated HR Plan built to drive business growth and a high performance culture- Produce regular reports for HR teams and wider business using a set of agreed recruitment metrics. Ensure D&I features in this- Coach recruiting managers to improve inclusive and consistent interviewing, assessment and selection competence.- Educating the wider business on the group’s early careers approach, challenging where appropriate

Knowledge, Skill & Experience- Be an experienced recruiter with a keen eye for Early Careers talent - both for current and future roles- International recruitment experience is essential- Prior experience of designing and delivery Early Careers recruitment campaigns / strategies from scratch would be advantageous- Ability to thin
