**Compliance Assurance & Monitoring Specialist - Compliance**

**The Role**

Our Electronic Money Institution specialised in Foreign exchange and risk/hedging solutions is searching for a Compliance Assurance & Monitoring Specialist with relative experience in this space ideally with a background in the payments/e-money industries.

You will spend your time focusing and managing the Compliance Monitoring plan, conducting audits & reviews, dealing with queries from both front office and senior management regarding regulatory challenges, reporting, specific case studies tailored to the company and interpreting the local and global regulations, so you must be able to communicate your knowledge clearly and concisely and be comfortable presenting to the team and to the other departments as well.

**Your activities will include**:
**Assurance & Monitoring**

Compliance Monitoring Programme - creating/managing the annual CMP plan, reviewing the current methodology and framework to conduct thematic and annual reviews, creating testing plans for the CMP, executing reviews and attending stakeholder meetings.

Partnerships - Approving onboarding and providing advisory to all new potential partnerships including new business models

Skillcast Training & Policy Attestation management - Ebury Employees & External PM staff

QA controls, QA Audit Actions tracking and enhancements, Financial promotions, Call monitoring for Direct & Indirect business, supporting Group Compliance,

**Policies & Procedures**

Policy & Procedure Drafting, Annual reviews of all policies along with ensuring all regulatory updates/changes are captured.

**Monthly MI**

Collate MI and run data analysis, present your findings to senior management or members of the board

**Requirements**:

- Must have an Assurance Monitoring & Surveillance, financial crime related experience in the financial industry
- Preferably having experience in an e-money/payment institution
- Minimum 5 years industry experience & People management experience
- Strong knowledge of the financial regulations and current regulatory change.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, along with working to strict deadlines
- Must be able to work in a fast paced industry and highly performing team
