**Office Assistant required in Widnes - Starting at £11.30 per hour**

Our client is looking for someone to join their administration team at their recycling plant near **West Bank,** **Widnes.**

Responsibilities include:

- General filing, scanning and photocopying of paperwork, delivery notes, invoices etc.
- Answering telephone calls: transfer calls or taking messages.
- Answering entrance intercom and operating electronic gates.
- Processing visitors onsite.
- Assist with the driver planning and paperwork.
- Sending paperwork to suppliers.
- Setting up weekly clock cards for employees.
- Other general office duties as and when required.

Person specification:

- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication / telephone manner.
- Reliable
- Ideally with good geographical knowledge of the UK.

The role operates **4 days per week working 9am until 5pm**

The rate of pay is **£11.30 per hour with opportunity to rise**

This is a **temporary to** **permanent **position with **real opportunities for progression**.
