Our award-winning Global client is looking for a **HR Advisor** to join their Newark based team. This will be a fixed term contract covering a period of 13 months. Within this advisory role, you will be required to handle employee requests, contractual changes, recruitment process and much more.

**THE ROLE**

As a **HR Advisor** your details will include, but are not limited to:

- Provide HR support to employees (approx. 500 employees)
- Manage and provide knowledgeable advice on HR-related procedures and policies
- Comply with employment legislation and best Human Resources practice to support business needs
- Managing the recruitment process from shortlisting to interviews, offers and onboarding
- Creating, implementing and administering employee policies
- Provide advice and support in relation to absence, disciplinary and grievance matters
- Support international assignments and develop knowledge from a HR and payroll perspective

**THE CANDIDATE**

The successful **HR Advisor** will possess the following qualities:

- 5 years in a proven similar position
- CIPD qualification
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Excellent interpersonal skills and confident with dealing with sensitive situations and the ability to provide advice
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Experience in dealing with Trade Union Representative’s would be advantageous
