**Purpose of the role**

BrandEd is the holding company which houses Sotheby’s Institute of Art, The School of The New York Times, Condé Nast College, and the City Football Leadership Institute. Our strategy is to partner with the world’s most iconic and premier brands to create innovative, compelling, experiential academic programs ranging from Pre-College to master’s degree, with locations in NY and London, and partnerships around the world.

As the Multimedia Coordinator at BrandEd, you will play a crucial cross-functional role that encompasses managing the photography studio at Condé Nast College in London, conducting regular livestreams for events, and providing editing support for all schools across BrandEd’s portfolio.

Managing the photography studio at Condé Nast College includes maintaining studio equipment, supporting students, and ensuring a seamless experience for both learners and professionals. You will be responsible for advising, supporting, and assisting students with photography-related questions and technical issues, in addition to helping set up and break down equipment for scheduled shoots.

In addition to studio management, you will be responsible for conducting livestreams for regular events at BrandEd and the associated schools, including, but not limited to, the Vogue Education Presents series at Condé Nast College, graduations, and other events as they occur.

You will also provide video editing support, helping to execute production, and editing for course content at BrandEd, ensuring that the final videos match the educational needs and brand guidelines set forth for the project. You will work closely with the rest of the Video Team to ensure that videos are produced on time and meet the educational objectives for the project. In this capacity, you must be a highly organized, detail-oriented, innovative, and creative storyteller.

**Main duties and responsibilities**

**1. Manage the photography studio at Condé Nast College in London**:

- Maintain and oversee studio equipment and operations including managing the

Studio Booking System.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of studio equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Induct new students and photographers: welcome and guide new students and photographers to the studio setup, familiarising them with equipment and studio protocols.
- Set up studio for workshops and classes: prepare the studio for workshops, classes, and shoots, including setting up lighting equipment, backdrops, and cameras.
- Oversee studio operations: monitor the overall functioning of the studio, ensuring a conducive environment for creative work.
- Provide photography and editing support to students, faculty, and staff.
- Aid students during photo shoots, including setting up equipment and offering guidance on photography techniques.
- Be available to answer students' questions on lighting and photography techniques, either in person or online.
- Manage the studio booking system: handle studio bookings, using our booking system and maintain the booking form.

**2. Manage and conduct regular livestreams for BrandEd events**:

- This includes setup and streaming of weekly livestreamed interviews, yearly graduations, and other events at the school as they occur.

**3. Provide video editing support for BrandEd online courses**:

- Edit video content for schools across BrandEd’s portfolio in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to incorporate feedback into each cut.
- Follow the brand guidelines for all BrandEd schools.
- Collaborate with any external vendors needed, such as supporting editors, videographers, animators, or consultants.

**Person specification (essential)**
- Experience in both still photography and video production.
- Experience with audio editing and basic sound mixing.
- Experience in Adobe Premiere.
- Proficiency in Photoshop for image editing.
- Working knowledge of basic compositing, motion graphics, and animation.
- Understanding and knowledge of studio lighting equipment and composition, cameras, and photography.
- Must have ePortfolio, reel, or examples of work.
- Strong organisational and verbal, written and digital communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
