We are currently recruiting for a lead family run M&E contractor who are looking for a Project Administrator.

**Job Summary**

To act as the first point of contact within the projects team and to assist with the smooth running of the department.

**Main duties and Responsibilities**
- Raising jobs specific to the nature, CAT. A, B, C, D and carrying out all tasks relevant to each category
- Raising and issuing sub-contractor orders and purchase orders as required
- Creating and issuing quotes and updating the quote folder & tracker sheet
- On completion of projects to build the operations and maintenance (O&M) manuals liaising with supervisors, contract managers and sub-contractors, to ensure all necessary information is received for the client and end user
- To produce manual Construction Phase Plans for all projects that are to be compliant with CDM 2015 regulations, and including site sign in information, signage and tool box talks folders
- To produce a programme of works in Excel or Microsoft projects as required for any upcoming projects as specified in the original request document
- Allocation of workstream to a team of operatives
- Timesheet checking
- Planning and co-ordination of direct/sub-contractor labour
- Keep all electronic project folders up to date with latest information
- Signing off of all sub-contractor and supplier invoices, and dealing with any queries that may arise
- At the end of each job to build a “finance report” to track incoming and outgoing costs, using both Exchequer and ODATA on any jobs over £50k
- Produce project invoices
- Profile case studies
- To assist the Contract Manager / Supervisor with day-to day administration tasks

**Person Specification**
- Have the ability to plan and prioritise, resolve issues and meet targets and deadlines
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Have financial awareness and understanding of value for money / good negotiation skills
- Be a good team player but also be confident working alone
- Have a positive and flexible approach to work
- Knowledge of both Exchequer and ODATA preferred but not essential
- Be meticulous
- Hard working
- Have great attention to detail
- Have the ability to implement new administration processes within the department

**Salary**

£26,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
