Macildowie are pleased to be partnered with a multi-site business based in Kettering, Northampton, who are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to be responsible for processing financial transactions in a team of 5, alongside a wider Finance team of 12colleagues.

**You will need**:

- Basic Accounting knowledge - essential
- Good Excel skills (e.g. knowledge of v-lookups, pivot tables) - essential
- I.T. literate, quick at adapting to new systems - essential
- Ability to gather, analyse and evaluate business data to prepare reports - essential
- Experience processing payments - highly desirable
- Experience using Sage - desirable
- Knowledge of journals, accruals, prepayments - desirable

**Responsibilities**:

- Invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, query resolution to support the Purchase Ledger
- Cash allocation, credit card payments, and inputting cheques to support the Sales Ledger
- Importing bank statements
- Input of journals into ERP system
- Departmental transactional reports to be provided on a monthly basis
- Daily upload of B2C related tasks
- Absence cover for other Financial Transactions team members and supporting Senior Finance Assistants
