**Customer Order Administrator(9FTC)**
**Near to Kettering**
**9 Months Maternity Cover Contract**
**Full-time: 38 hours per week - Monday: 8.30am - 5pm; Tuesday - Friday 9am - 5pm.**
**Salary: £21,500 per annum**

The **Customer Order Administrator** will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing customer accounts, processing orders, dealing with order returns, raising credits and organising collections.

We are looking for someone who is competent with MS Office and has strong written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail and a desire to always provide the highest level of customer service.

**Key duties & responsibilities of the Customer Order Administrator**:

- Handle telephone/written enquiries & orders as and when required.
- Update internal systems with stock availability and outstanding orders.
- Produce all aspects of order documentation, despatching, and invoicing as required, according to the customer profile.
- Answer calls and offer cover on team members’ phone as required (an office-wide policy).
- Dealing with returns, raising credits and organise collections with couriers.
- Provide any other ad hoc administrative support as required and be flexible and adaptable in line with business demand.
- Responsible for booking transport, liaising with carriers and prepare any relevant transport related paperwork.

**Key skills and experience required for the Customer Order Administrator**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), organisational, and administrative skills.
- Good numeracy and IT proficiency (including Microsoft Office).
- Able to build and maintain good customer relationships.
- Customer service experience preferable but not essential.
- Eager to learn and develop new skills.

All responses will be managed in line with GDPR regulations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months
