**Position**:
We now have a vacancy in Stoke on Trent for a operational administrator with freight forwarding or logistics experience to join a team handling groupage trailers to various European destinations.
**Main Duties**
- Help to plan Export Groupage trailers.
- Responsible for monthly P&L on designated service(s).
- Develop key service relationships with customers and overseas agents to provide an efficient and effective service.
- Choosing most effective and profitability means of transportation when dealing with several agents in same country
- Quotations for customers, negotiating best possible rate for Simarco and ensuring that exporting trailer is maximised.
- Ensuring appropriate transportation is used for goods to be transported
- To ensure good internal communication between key departments, customer handling, Transport and warehouse.
- Provide completed manifest to warehouse
- Complying with all Exportation Documentation
- Ensuring good Geographic knowledge of the country you are servicing.
- Resolving and managing queries and complaints courteously and efficiently
- Ensuring site and customer objectives are achieved
- Gain a full understanding of our ISO/AEO systems

Monday to Friday
09:00 till 17:30
1 hour lunch break
**Requirements**:
**Key Skills**
- Ability to consolidate cargo in the UK, with a good understanding on how to maximise their trailer payloads desired but not essential
- Ability to demonstrate their skills to load/plan/route trailers for cost effective groupage trailer planning desired but not essential
- Must be able to plan loads and have had experience with using weights/cubes
- Must be commercially aware and liaise closely with the sales department, be able to negotiate favourable rates and win business for their trade route
- Good communication skills and high level of customer service.
- Ability to work as part of a busy team
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good organisation and ability to work to deadline is essential
- Able to learn new software and master our in house “Azyra System” effectively
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of Export customs procedures desired but not essential
- Good European Geographical Knowledge.
