Come and join our team at DNA Care Services. As a family owned and run business, we help our customers deliver care to adults that require nursing care and support. Due to expansion, we are looking for caring Health Care Assistants to join our dedicated team of flexible professional staff.

In this role, you will provide care and support for patients that are suffering from neurological conditions ranging from ABI, stroke, and Huntington’s disease. Many of the patient you will be caring will have complex medical and behaviour issues and need a high level of support.

We are looking for caring and compassionate applicants that can manage the services users nursing needs with dignity and respect and work in what can be a challenging environment.

The service users you will support will have challenging behavioural needs as well as nursing needs, so applicants need to be prepared to work with service users that could exhibit difficult behaviour at times. Full training will be provided to successful applicants to manage this aspect of the role.

Some service users may have mobility issues or may be completely immobile or lack capacity carry out their own personal care, so successful applicants will be required to either support with personal care or complete all round personal care to service users.

Support workers are led by a nursing team who oversee the care of the service users and organise duties to be carried out by the support worker teams.

Service users varying levels of independence and are support by a Transdisciplinary Team made up of Psychologists and Assistant Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Specialist Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech and Language Therapists with the aim to further rehabilitation and promote independence.

**Salary**: £11.00-£16.50 per hour
