We are currently looking to recruit a Collection Specialist into our Recoveries team within our Leeds office

**What you will bring**

We are looking for outstanding individuals with experience of working collections, although we are open to transferrable experience in other environments or with other types of debt recovery. You must be IT literate and have good numeracy and communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Resilience and rapport-building are also key skills for the role. You will enjoy having the autonomy to make decisions and thrive on speaking to people from all backgrounds

A positive attitude and a desire to provide excellent customer service is a must

Would be beneficial if you have worked in a debt recovery/collections environment, with strong attention to detail.

As a collections specialist you will undertake some Paralegal duties which include:

- To undertake direction and guidance to complete activities in line with service level agreements, best practice and internal policies and processes.
- To achieve individual KPI's and contribution to team performance, including financial and non-financial measures where applicable.
- To work flexibly in adjusting to changes in priority of workload.
- Proactive use of appropriate systems and processes to improve efficiency, whilst adhering to client requirements and adding value.
- To prioritise and organise your work efficiently and effectively to ensure all delegated tasks are completed to specified deadlines and to a consistently good standard.
- To maintain and develop sufficient competence and legal/technical knowledge to work effectively under supervision.
