**JOB TITLE**:HR Manager

**COMPANY**: Investment Management - Merchant Banking within clean energy

**CONTRACT**:Permanent

**HOURS**:9.00am - 5.30pm, Mon & Fri some flexibility with wfh (maybe 1/2 days)

**START**: ASAP

**LOCATION**:Pall Mall

**CULTURE**:Start up, friendly, entrepreneurial, driven and ambitious small team

**DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO**:

- HR Manager will develop and deliver the HR service in support of the overall strategic aims and objectives of the company
- Ability to work in a standalone role and will be the main point of contact for all HR related matters
- Provide recommendations and implement best practice considering commercial outcomes
- Strong ability to build relationships quickly, with proven strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation
- Capable of evaluating the needs of both the business and its people and ensuring that the needs of both are being addressed and fulfilled
- Spearhead and implement measures and policies that will ensure positive colleague climate, high morale, engagement and effective communication
- Own and continuously improve people operations processes, interfacing with third parties on areas such as visas, employment contracts, payroll and benefits
- Advise and co-ordinate for appropriate resourcing and recruitment, providing guidance in all matters pertaining to the employment function
- Plan and execute both training and progression plans together with other Directors to meet the business needs
- Successful as a policy developer in a dynamic Startup environment, possessing a hands-on proactive style that delivers solutions to support the team
- Manage the end-to-end employee life cycle
- Be a culture ambassador for the firm and amplify core values

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED**:

- Degree or CIPD level 5-7 required
- or equivalent experience
- Financial or Professional Services industry experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledgeable in employment law
- Organised and detail orientated
- Proven ability to effectively manage varying responsibilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Resilient, positive attitude professional
- Resourceful, can-do attitude and accountable
- Understands how to handle, resolve and escalate enquiries
- Confidentiality and strong integrity is critical
