PARTNERS Programme

Event planning and delivery
You will be involved in the organisation and delivery of multiple campus events for prospective students. One example is our ‘Bitesize Uni’ Year 12 summer school, a residential event held on campus for over 200 students. As well as planning events, you’ll also lead teams of Student Ambassadors, as well as other members of the Student Recruitment Team to deliver them successfully. You’ll present to large audiences of students, parents/carers and teachers, manage event budgets and carry out comprehensive evaluation, including the preparation of reports.

Outreach and recruitment activity
You will also lead and support other key Student Recruitment Team projects and activities and line manage a member of the Student Recruitment Support Team. You will also support other University events and activities such as Open Days and Confirmation and Clearing. You will account manage several key schools and colleges across the UK, occasionally travelling to deliver presentations and activities, attend large scale recruitment fairs and other university events throughout the year.

Who are we looking for?

If this sounds like you - we want to hear from you.

Essential requirements of the role
A full, clean driving license and the willingness to work some weekends and outside of normal office hours. You should also be able and willing to occasionally drive to events and school/college visits around the UK and to stay overnight when required. Hire cars are provided for travel.
