About the job
**Summary**:
The Project Support Officer will provide high quality, flexible support to help Ofsted deliver high profile programmes, projects, business transformation and other key change activity.
Working closely with project and programme managers across the organisation, the post holder will be responsible for maintaining and updating information held, supporting key meetings and providing general ad hoc administrative support for senior managers and project teams.
The post holder will provide support across the team; including arranging regular team meetings, ensuring that project resources are updated and available on the intranet, and managing project templates in SharePoint.
The post holder will need to be highly organised and able to respond to the changing demands of the team over time. They will be proactive and able to work without supervision in a fast paced and exciting environment.

**Responsibilities**:
The key responsibilities of the role are outlined below. However, this is an overview of the role and is not exhaustive. Ofsted reserves the right to assign other duties commensurate with the B3 grade as required.
- To support team and project meetings, including preparing the agenda, commissioning and collating papers, taking minutes and ensuring actions are logged and completed.
- To commission and compile high quality updates for projects and programmes, for reporting processes, to monitor progress and report slippage against milestones.
- To deliver high quality support for a range of projects and programmes, often multiple projects simultaneously, including the maintenance and update of project documentation as required.
- To manage configuration control for the team, ensuring that all documentation is saved on SharePoint and/or the intranet, with appropriate version control.
- To assist the team in organising and facilitating events and planning content to be delivered to a wide range of stakeholders.
- To provide administrative and ad hoc support as required.
