Killeavy Castle Estate is seeking an Event Coordinator for **maternity cover** for this award-winning hotel.

**This role will cease on 26 January 2025**

**Role Objective**

In your role of Event Coordinator, you will assist the Events Manager in the coordination of the events function within the Estate to ensure the constant delivery of the core mission and values of Killeavy Castle Estate.

**Key Duties include;**
- Conversion of enquiries to sales.
- Take all the details from the client ensuring that all the detail is correct and that every eventuality is thought of.
- Enter and control all data into the Hotel PMS (HotSoft).
- Meeting clients to sell and promote the Estates facilities.
- Going through all the details of the client’s events with the client on arrival and in the lead up to their specific event to ensure all is correct and that there are no changes.
- Attending a weekly meeting where the details of all meetings / conferences / weddings / events are communicated to the Operations Team.
- Ensuring that all changes requested by the client are communicated to the Operations Team in advance of the event.
- Following up with the client after the event to ensure they were happy with everything and see if they would like to book for any additional services.
- Actively following up and all leads passed to you by other departments and converting those leads to sales.
- Administrative duties relating to events including office duties and data entry
- Other duties as required and requested by management.

**Key Skills and Experience include;**
- Self-motivated and have the ability to prioritise work. Must be IT literate and a strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft software’s.
- Ability to work on own initiative and be flexible with working hours.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus
